Standards of Practice for Inspections
Brightview Home Inspections Follows the InterNACHi guidelines and practices for home inspections. These guidelines ensure that all structures, appliances, and components are inspected to the highest of standards.
What We Inspect
- Basement, Foundation, Crawlspace & Structure
- Attic, Insulation & Ventilation
- Doors, Windows & Interior
A Buyer’s Inspection is the most common inspection requested. This service is useful for homebuyers who wish to know the current state of their potential home purchase. The inspection will view all major structures and components of the home and uncover any issues, defects, or causes for concern. This inspection is a must for homebuyers who wish to be certain about the quality of their investment.
Pre-listing / Sellers Inspection
Before home-sellers or real estate agents list a property for sale it is truly important to be knowledgeable of any existing faults with the home or property. A pre-listing/seller inspection permits the seller to provide truthful and recent information to all potential homebuyers. Being honest and forthcoming will help to maintain your reputation in the ever-competitive real estate market.
11-Month / Builders Warranty Inspection
A majority of contractors stipulate a 12-month warranty after the completion of the building. This inspection service is completed directly before the warranty expires. This way any issues that are uncovered during the inspection will be paid for by the contractor and not out of your pocket. This service is a wise investment and could save you significant amounts.
After we perform an initial inspection we also provide a re-inspection service. This inspection is used to make certain that any issue or component found in disrepair during the original inspection has been properly dealt with or repaired. Making certain repairs are thorough can notably increase the value of your home.
Brightview Home Inspections is happy to provide radon testing to all of our clients. We will test your home and property for the presence of radon or any other harmful gas that could endanger you or your family’s health.
